The Clay House is a ca. turn of the century historic house on Dartmouth Avenue that provides shelter and assistance to child abuse victims in the community. We were very happy to help an historic structure, their organization and our community on one of our most successful One House at a Time projects.
One House at a Time brings our organization and often the entire community together to help historic structures that can benefit from volunteer labor and donated supplies. If you or someone you know would like to apply for the assistance that we can provide to a historic structure please fill out the application below. This program is very important to us and essentially at the heartbeat of what we are about. If you would like to get involved with helping people, historically significant structures, and our community, join our group or watch here for updates!
The Old "Women's Clubhouse" had not been used in years and had fallen into disrepair with uncertainty about its future. One House at a Time came to the rescue and cleared years of brush overgrowth and breathed some life back into a structure that was close to being forgotten.
